Ammonium Polyphosphate ( Phase II ) is a non-reactive, thermally stable inorganic salt of polyphosphoric acid and ammonia. Depending upon the degree of polymerization, there are two families of ammonium polyphosphate: namely Ammonium Polyphosphate ( APP phase I ) and Ammonium Phosphate ( APP Phase II ). Unlike APP phase I, APP phase II is non-volatile in nature and remains stable up to approximately 300 Deg.C temperature.

Ammonium Polyphosphate ( APP phase II ) is commonly used in, expandable fireproof coating. Other than this, Ammonium Polyphosphate ( PP phase II ) is used in coatings, paints and plastics due to its environmentally friendly nature.

In order to make it suitable for different applications, various coatings can be applied to Ammonium Polyphosphate ( APP phase II ).

2. used in Agriculture (offer efficient N +P nutrients with superior water solubility in liquid fertilizer)
